Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry
The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) are the terms under which hospitality businesses established in the Netherlands - such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, and related businesses - provide hospitality services and enter into hospitality agreements. Hotel-Specific Cancellation Policies
Cancellation Terms – up to 25 persons
More than 28 days before arrival: the entire reservation may be cancelled free of charge.
Up to 28 days before arrival: 50% of the agreed total volume may be cancelled free of charge.
Up to 14 days before arrival: 25% of the agreed total volume may be cancelled free of charge.
Up to 7 days before arrival: 10% of the agreed total volume may be cancelled free of charge.
Up to 1 day before arrival: a maximum of 2 rooms or 2 participants may be cancelled free of charge.
Payment Terms – up to 25 persons
100% of the agreed total amount must be paid 28 days before arrival.
If you have a customer number with us, you can pay the invoice within 14 days of receipt.
Cancellation Terms – up to 50 persons
More than 42 days before arrival: free cancellation of the full reservation.
Up to 42 days before arrival: 50% of the agreed total volume free of charge.
Up to 28 days before arrival: 25% free of charge.
Up to 14 days before arrival: 10% free of charge.
Up to 1 day before arrival: max. 3 rooms or 3 participants free of charge.
Payment Terms – up to 50 persons
50% of the total agreed amount must be paid 42 days before arrival.
The remaining 50% must be paid 28 days before arrival.
If you have a debtor number, part of the costs may be paid within 14 days after receipt of the invoice.

More than 90 days before arrival: free cancellation of the full reservation.
Up to 90 days before arrival: 50% of the agreed volume free of charge.
Up to 42 days before arrival: 25% free of charge.
Up to 14 days before arrival: 10% free of charge.
Up to 1 day before arrival: max. 4 rooms or 4 participants free of charge.
Payment Terms – up to 150 persons
50% of the total agreed amount must be paid 42 days before arrival.
The remaining 50% must be paid 28 days before arrival.

Up to 1 day before arrival: max. 4 rooms or 4 participants free of charge.
Payment Terms – more than 150 persons
50% of the agreed amount must be paid 90 days prior to arrival.
The remaining 50% must be paid 28 days prior to arrival.
If you have a debtor number, part of the costs may be paid within 14 days of receipt of the invoice.
Wedding Cancellation Terms
More than 90 days before arrival: full cancellation free of charge.
Up to 90 days before: 50% of the agreed volume.
Up to 42 days before: 25%.
Up to 14 days before: 10%.
Up to 1 day before: max. 4 rooms or 4 guests.
Wedding Payment Terms
10% of the total agreed amount must be paid within 14 days of signing the offer.
The remaining 90% must be paid 28 days before arrival.
Any post-calculated costs can be paid within 14 days of receiving the invoice.
