Experience a magical Christmas at Van der Valk Hotel Volendam! On December 24, 25, and 26, celebrate Christmas in the luxurious Restaurant ZYLT. During Christmas, the restaurant will of course be completely transformed into the Christmas atmosphere. Both small and large groups are very welcome.
Christmas breakfast
25 & 26 december
Start Christmas in a festive way with our Live Cooking Christmas breakfast! Enjoy a generous selection of breakfast classics and festive extras: from freshly baked breads and croissants to luxury toppings, cheeses and cold cuts, as well as salads, egg dishes and warm snacks. At the cooking station, our chefs will prepare a delicious fresh omelette just the way you like it. Naturally, fruit, yoghurt with toppings and breakfast cereals are also available. Finish your breakfast with coffee and a homemade sweet treat.

Enjoy an extensive Live Cooking Christmas brunch. The brunch buffet includes a variety of bread, sweet and savoury toppings, a festive salad bar and soups. Warm dishes are freshly prepared for you at the cooking station or baked in the pizza oven. Finish with delicious desserts and homemade treats, such as cakes and fresh fruit.

Reservations can be made between 12 and 1 p.m.

Finish your evening with an extensive dessert buffet filled with ice cream, homemade treats and more.

Christmas magic
During the festive season, the hotel and Restaurant ZYLT will be beautifully decorated for Christmas, with festive Christmas trees and atmospheric table decorations. While you enjoy the celebrations, Father Christmas will also make a special visit to the restaurant. Children will receive a small gift and can have fun in the kids’ corner.

A 100% deposit must be paid within 2 days to confirm your reservation for the Live Cooking Christmas buffet
Reservations can be cancelled or amended free of charge up to and including 8 December 2026
For cancellations or amendments made between 9 and 22 December 2026, 50% of the deposit will be refunded
For cancellations or amendments made from 23 December 2026 onwards, the deposit is non-refundable
