Volendam
Volendam, the village where the 'Palingsound' comes from. The village has become a tourist attraction in Northern Holland. Throughout the year there are fun activities to do for young and old.
The pearl of the Zuiderzee, so Volendam is called. The dike is located directly at the IJsselmeer and the Marken Express will take you from the Embankment to the Peninsula of Marken. In summer you can also rent boats and boating on the large lake. And of course good skating on a cold winter!
From the hotel you can make a nice bike ride and drink a cup of coffee at one of the many cafes and restaurants that Volendam is rich!
In short, Volendam is worth it!
